At present investment in these areas is growing but considerable infrastructure improvements need to be made by the city and providers. People aren’t receiving best practice in these areas; a new motivation to improve supply of services needs to be sought.

Our parents want improved childcare, both in the number of places available for this service and in the various types of service ranging from nursing to pre-school and after-school care.

Our elderly demand respect and a living that is not hidden away in some obscure corner of the city and forgotten. More benches for sitting, more greened park-space for walkers, decent drinking fountains, better toilet facilities. Special (around the City of Kalamunda) mini-bus service for easy access to businesses, banks, parks and a multitude of other services; the care of our people becomes the priority.
