About me:
Holding degrees from two universities and living and working within the City of Kalamunda for over 35 years; I have achieved the Australian dream of raising a family, assisting friends and owning my own home. I am an inclusive Christian with the belief of a healthy mind and body and as such I am active raising funds for sport, many charities and the poor. If elected, I will donate my entire stipend to charities.
I am a member of the Darling Range Sports College School Board. I have friends and connections with over 10,000 professional and business people. I have the respect of everyone who knows me, from teachers, bank managers, community leaders, students, the police and most importantly my wife and adult sons. I know what people need and I have the determination and the strategies to see my plans for a better, more inclusive society achieved.
Why I’m running for council:
People need hope and a future for their children and grandchildren. To this end honesty and integrity are uppermost in people’s minds when choosing a councillor who will treat them and their issues with respect, courtesy and most importantly justice. Unfortunately, the council is a training ground for party politics and hopefuls wanting a shot at a future state or federal seat; thus the present situation of little respect for councillors. By giving up any monetary gain and promising an excellent work ethic, I hope to better the futures of our people. Removing greed and avarice from the equation “Hope” will flourish.
I want a future for our children. So, for an honest, inclusive and just council vote for “Robert Geagea” me to do the job and give the city a good name.
